How the University of Texas increased ticket sales and decreased sales expenses during a period of on-field struggles

In 2017, the University of Texas (Texas) was facing a downward trend in ticket sales, experiencing a rare stretch of poor on-field performance and a massive reduction in ticket sales staff. Texas Athletics’ external services leadership team sought a solution that would overcome the multiple challenges they were experiencing – and be relevant in better times as well. The success Texas Athletics experienced by employing PILYTIX allowed them to increase sales and continue to lead the NCAA in ticket revenue with a greatly reduced staff.
